Flights From Torino Caselle

Every week, more than 500 flights leave Turin , provided by 20 scheduled airlines, enabling to quickly reach the most important cities in Italy and Europe , with convenient connecting flights for the rest of the world.
The airport provides direct flights to almost 40 destinations, 27 of which are international. The network is completed by the leading air charter companies and tour operators who offer services to the most prestigious holiday resorts in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Near East. During the winter season, the snow charter sector also registers an impressive increase in the number of passengers, thanks to the flights that are provided for Italian and foreign skiers by leading tour operators.
In 2008, the airport registered over 3,420,000 passengers.

yup – no more direct SFO flights. Gotta go via LAX if you want to go to San Francisco.

Peter; yes, 'A' should have been dropped from ANE ;-)

Bryan; in terms of dating the Midrash etc, one issue is that they often reflect far older customs and we know from other sources that anointing with oil was an Near Eastern practice. So that shouldn't be controversial. That is, we know (historical fact) that the anointing of oil on the sick in the Near East served a medicinal purpose. TC, has already noted that this has been pointed out by his commentator.

I think Blackwood is less mercenaries than freebooters. Erik “Hawkwood” Prince makes his merry millions by extorting them from the government mcuh the way Hawkwood did from the cities of Italy.

That being said, if the US pulls out of Iraq and the “companies” are no longer needed, you can gurantee that small scale wars will sudddenly escalate around the globe as dictators with money will hire Blackwood directly or those they have trained.

It is simply history repeating itself.

I'm having this problem too! I just got my hair cut to a pixie and am having trouble finding a hat that is just the right amount of feminine (but still my style) to get me through this winter season. I think I've found a solution as far as a practical way to keep you warm. EAR MUFFS! They are totally cute and come in a range of colors. I'll be looking for a pair for myself in the next week probably on amazon.com.

I feel that multiple beliefs can co-exist. Beliefs are not taught, they are *beliefs*. Any explanation to the essence of life that looks apt/suitable/reaonable/logical to an individual, is his/her BELIEF. But once we start comparing and figthing over our beliefs, everything starts to spiral down…..

It must be time for Canadian media to do the right thing by investigating the worldwide picture of CCSVI treatment. My reasearch over the past months reveals that while Canada stews in a putrid mess of politicization and misinformation, the rest of the world is moving steadily forward with successful investigation and treatment of CCSVI. Please, give our public this information, now!

Hi Alexis! I posted the video of the naked swarm at the Berlin-Tegel airport in one of the many follow-up posts to this one. I've seen the second video and I do understand German very well (though the one guy has a really tough accent). Someone needs to provide subtitles to it so that it can reach a broader audience. (Maybe a project for when I'm done grading final exams …)

I am very much aware there is an airport in Coolongatta. The problem is that there are so few direct flights to the Gold Coast unless you're flying in from Sydney or Melbourne. And while they may be popular routes, there are people who live in other parts of the country. And last I checked, all the big international flights flew in to Brisbane ;) Perhaps with the upgrade direct flights may increase. As for now, most flights still terminate in Brisbane.

BabaGannouj January 18, 2011 at 1:03 am

Well the whole thing with the flights is that there still is a murky security situation on the ground in iraq. The big deal with direct flights from Beirut by big name airlines is that once that happens then that means an “official” recognition by the lebanese governement of the new iraqi governement and thus by implication support for the american invasion or liberation (however you see it). That is also why most arab countries still have no permanent diplomatic mission at the level of ambassadors.

This may be slightly off topic but I have a bone to pick with the many MBAs who seem to be representing themselves as economists these days. It's become something of an epidemic and has served to greatly muddy the debate on public policy. And it's gotten to the point that when I read an article by an “economist” that sounds like it is not really their field, I go and google their actual training and it inevitably turns out they are actually an MBA. John Tamny, the editor of Real Clear Markets is a case in point. I'll make a deal with the MBAs. I'll promise not to claim to be an expert in business and finance if they promise not to claim to be experts in economics.

Their crap?? Sorry man, Rock started in America. The reason you may say it's crap is because in my opinion many of the genres in America aren't good for me such as Country, Hip-Hop, Rap, and etc. The Rock in America; however, is great.

This is a very interesting article, and highlights the need for considered planning in Africa. I wonder whether there will be an opportunity for a similar planning system from the UK to be imposed on African cities, or whether a 'western style of planning' would create more issues than solve?

It is important that as the cities expand, the local people are protected, and vital facilities are provided such as community space and parks. From lessons learnt in UK it is clear that social cohesion must be protected to ensure that new 'communities' are successful.

In countreys like Brazil for sure people from different parts of the world mixed much faster than in Europe or in Asia and the “races” were much more different from each other (native people, slaves from Western Africa,? european people etc.) but in every place in the world there always were and will be mixture between different looking people. If u read some history books you will know that the romans also invaded what is today the United Kingdom. People in britain are of Norman, Saxon, Roman..

Its time we stopped the madness of uncontrolled immigration. We have 150,000 irish people on the live register without any chance of getting a decent job. Could someone please explain why we need more workers?

And as for nigerians coming here, there is no direct flights to Ireland from Nigeria, so these peopel clearly are ignoring safe EU nations to come to Ireland! Why? Benefits! Time to stop the madness!!!

Thanks for linking back to my little lanterns, and for your super nice comment! I loooove the idea of simple snowflakes or something similar for Christmas and throughout the winter season. And, I love your tree project…better late than never.

I am also well known for kissing my husband goodbye 3-5 times because I keep having to come back inside or go back upstairs for things I forgot!

For the Pacific to take its place on the world stage and for the rest of the world to truely realise what it has to offer in this “global goal for change” it is understanding of the Pacific's deep rooted cultures and basic traditional systems, that must be had by the rest of the world.
(Understanding is the BIGGEST partner in development, the biggest healer of rift and the biggest tool in learning) – the Catalyst
