Turin airport, managed by SAGAT, is an up-to-date structure that is able to provide users with a continuously improving range of services.
It is well-connected to all major European hubs, and can be easily reached from any part of the world via an intermediate connection.
Easily accessible and congestion-free, the airport can handle an annual traffic of more than five million passengers, guaranteeing the highest standards of comfort and safety.
In 2008 and in 2007 SAGAT won the ACI Europe Awards for the best European airport in the 1-5 million passenger category, due to the high quality of the services provided.
Torino Caselle airport therefore aspires to a prominent role in the European airport sector, and is ready to meet future challenges and grasp the opportunities created by the Torino 2006 Olympics.

Hmm i guess there were three different people arguing here. Well, I've responded to all of your concerns, and I think you guys are smart enough to figure them out. I'm really not being trying to argue, but I do think that there's a reason why Brookings has often expressed their view that Taiwan has the higher moral ground,? but the weaker practical one. I'm not arguing that China will ever stop pressuring Taiwan, but it's something that I think is morally wrong.
Sasha Cohen is a legend. To come back after falling and delivering a program that is better than a lot of 'perfect' safe performances is awesome and the mark of a true and courageous champion. Yes, Sasha is a legend the USA was blessed to have her skate in Torino. What a comeback..a beautifully choreographed high? risk program that will live forever in figure skating history. Dick Button said it perfectly! Hold your head high Sasha and thank you for all the beauty and integrity you brought to FS!

Wonderful.
Your programme for March, (or earlier), is stupendous. It has me weeping with joy.
A lot may depend on which way the Trade Unions, or rather the rank and file membership jump. Anyone active in the workplace or branch who could give some idea of the current mood?
ps: I saw one snippet of news from Italy this week, not about what had happened on the streets of Rome but reporting that people had occupied the rail station in Turin & the airport runway in Palermo. Just a shot across the bows; just saying 'look!, we can do this'
I think I'm going to have to increase my blood pressure medication.
I love the NIMBY concept, David. You can see it working in Barcelona's airport. The closest neighbours, those in Gava Mar, bought expensive houses close to the airport and close to the sea, but now they oppose further enlargements. People want to be able to travel easily, but they don't want to hear the noises while they don't travel. And almost half of the inhabitants started living there after the enlargement was approved. Many of them are pilots or air controllers, so they live from the airline/airport sector, but they don't want the noise, just the money.
Best regards

“He does not insist on leaving Turkey’s Nato and says the country’s membership of the European Union is a necessary and useful step.”
Oh I bet he thinks its a useful step. That I dont doubt
Seeing as NATO has just been criticised by the largest contributor of forces (USA) for failing in Afghanistan and being inadequately trained to meet future challenges one would think the organization would want it's #2 force to stay involved.Oh yeah no.2 is Turkey

I agree. I don't know about the negative comments you recieved. ? But, short of fancy hollywood story line, the original is better in every way.
Hm. Not in their own country they're not. Of course, the Danes are around 5 million and the Ummah are circa 1,6 billion. But that's not really the point!
No-one has ever defamed the Danes, all of the 5 million people living there, as being fascists. Not me, not Wiehe – not anybody. We, who fight for a more open society and a world without borders, denouncing the Danish system – their contemporary laws. Not the Danes themselves! I love Danish people..a lot of my friends are Danes!
Feels good that I could share a laugh …
Wonderful.

looks like it is up to date for .net 4 and castle 2.5.1 but he really changed structure:
Given that AF/KL/AZ are all in a transatlantic JV with DL, and with DL/AF serving all of SkyTeam's major European hubs, for all intents and purposes all of those airlines serve DTW. The only other two SkyTeam airlines in Europe, CSA and Tarom, do not fly long-haul. (And, there is no market between DTW-SVO.)
beautiful music,? beautiful program, beautiful girl!
I miss European bread. And coffee. And beer. And chocolate. Here's hoping hubs gets transferred to Berlin one day.
Hi Greg!
You would probably recognize the music if you heard it. Pavarotti sang it at the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Olympics. It's from an opera by Puccini, and trust me, you don't have to like opera to love this piece of music. It's worth buying (do people still buy music?)

One more thing, I forgot to post a link to this MARTA summary:
Yes, it's from MARTA, but it uses outside sources to back up its facts, such as:
MARTA is directly and indirectly responsible for the creation of over 20,000 jobs in Georgia.
Georgia realizes a $2.1 billion impact to the state's economy because of MARTA.
If MARTA stopped running, annual traffic delays in Atlanta (already second only to Los Angeles) would increase by 1.25 million hours and cost an additional $245 million in “congestion costs” (i.e. gas consumption, tardy deliveries and employee productivity).
Every $1 billion invested in public transportation investment also yields $3.6 billion in business sales and generates nearly $500 million in federal, state and local tax revenues.
MARTA provides 500,000 daily passenger boardings – 54 percent of those are customers going to work and 10 percent use it get to school.
46% of MARTA customers report they do not have another readily available transportation option.
Riding a transit bus is 91 times safer than travelling in a car.
Oh! It's just you! You scared me with that? ghost costume.

On the mark, Unspun. I've heard of honest Finance Officials and Ministers (yes, they exist!), complaining they have to pay Commission 9 in parliament Rp. 5 million just to turn up to a meeting and then another Rp. 5 million to vote. So you get a reformist minister engaging in corruption (bribery) to pass reform-oriented legislation. More screwed up than the DNA-chain of a European royal family.
Lol, constantly overshadowed is a bit of an overstatement. Yes, in the past season and a half, Yuna has been consistently beating Asada. But realize that before that, Asada was the one everyone was fawning over, and critics seriously thought she would have won the 2006 Olympics had she been allowed to go. I realize this is a Korean site, but to blatantly mislead (or perhaps you're just ignorant of the reality of figure skating) readers to believe false truths is just sickening.
Congratulations Yuna for winning the OGM. Unfortunately, I have no kind feelings for your simpering fans.

Oregon’s Transportation Plan and Energy Plan appear to be up to the challenges of the changing transportation demands of increased populations and changing energy sources in leading us toward sustainability. Although it is uncertain if economic hardship will disrupt the possible progress as much of the goals are dependent on and based upon economics. Despite the incentives of the plan, they may not become economically viable which is largely driving factor in the change of the populations purchasing practices. They are also dependent on the ability to coordinate with utilities, automakers, and developers to commercialize new technologies such as plug in electric vehicles.
Both plans share a similar worldviews, calling for more sustainable transportation practice. The transportation plan goes into more depth on the incentives to reduce greenhouse gasses, which will help the efforts of the governor’s plan. The transportation plan focuses on transportation energy efficiency and technological advancements and on creating communities that would reduce the necessity for longer commutes and the demand for increased transportation and energy use. The smaller communities meet the goals of all of the future challenges, in providing for a larger population, reducing emissions, and is not dependent on the prices of fuel or the state of the economy. While the plans do not line up entirely they both can be implemented are both necessary in creating an effective energy policy and reducing greenhouse gasses.
I am alarmed by various far-reaching implications of Bill C-6 particularly as it concerns mandatory vaccinations and powers given to health inspectors to do searches and seizures in homes and businesses.
Please uphold our constitution and the rights of all Canadians by not allowing this bill to pass into law.
I don't believe that a few amendments to it can solve the problem with the bill – it should be stopped!
I am also alarmed at the prominent role of the W.H.O. with regard to our health policies – Canada must be free to choose its own policies.
Thank you for listening to voices of ordinary Canadians like me.
the only camera i have is the flip HD thingy?

Shopping at non-European airports and on board non-European airlines:
If you buy liquids or gels (duty-free or not) at a non-European airport and change planes at a European airport, you should allow for the possibility that your purchases will be confiscated at the security checkpoint. This can happen with purchases you make on board an aircraft operated by an airline from a non-EU country.
Do these rules apply everywhere?
The same rules apply at all airports in all 25 EU countries. These rules will therefore apply whenever you are departing from or changing planes in the EU. Similar rules for hand luggage apply in the US and Canada. Bear in mind that different rules may apply in other non-EU countries.

SM’s return to Bengaloru is timely, indeed. For a start, he will now start using the Bengaluru International Airport to have the most frequent Italian dinner in Delhi.
Well, it is a shame that the 3rd busiest airport in the country resembles a county or rural airport in any advanced country in the world with just one tiny terminal and a mini-runway! The CEO of the airport project has been on record mentioning the jems of the new infrastructure: three imported firefighting engines called Panthers, as if that they are going to be the most frequently used tools.
With just 16 operational counters (30 planed) for departure and arrival, 10 conveyor belts and shockingly only 6 gates/aerobridges, the airport will soon resemble another Kailasipalyam Bus Station, not even Majestic Bus Stand in central Bangalore
There has been no foresight into key issues like approach roads, crowd control and baggage management, crisis management, runway construction (all new airports are upgrading to land the A 380), lack of proper visitor view areas, lack of speedy boarding and baggage clearances, obsolete security apparatus and many other obvious blunders, the imported CEO apart from the AAI chief for the ‘showcase project’ deserve to be immediately packed off to Zurich & Delhi.
Incidentally the nearest and best airport in the region, Viz., Changi in Singapore has 58 gates (of which 10 are A380 certified) capable of handing thousands of passengers simultaneously with three main runways and 4 huge airport terminals! The interiors are the greenest and most advanced among all airports in the world. In fact, they are now planning for 2020 and constructing a 4th terminal, each terminal being 20 times bigger than the new Bangalore Airport! Incidentally, Singapore has population of just 3 million but the airport has annual traffic of 20 million, speaks a lot of business opportunities in tourism or aviation missed in India.
After many corruption issues and the Gowda clan’s interferences until recently, we can now expect SM or DK’s men and their well known cartel to manage all the money making opportunities and machines, landing quotas, recruitment, contracts, excise, customs, stalls, taxis…et al.
Welcome back!
